A pretty solid sterling silver cowrie shell, created from a real tiny and beautiful shell collected from Langland Beach. The shells measure around 6-7mm tall, and are three dimensional.
These shells have been given many fond names I have discovered including 'Granny' shells, and Langland Bay has been known for finding them washed up for decades, though their numbers have dropped in recent years.
